What should I expect from trans voice therapy?
Your speaking voice has many components besides pitch (how "high" or "low" the voice is) that contribute to how masculine or feminine your voice sounds to others. In trans voice therapy, we work with your current voice at any stage of transition to help achieve a natural, sustainable result.
How quickly can I hear results?
Vocal changes take time and effort. One or two sessions will not be enough time for a vocal coach to have a real impact on how you speak. Expect to give it a few months before you hear changes AND practice regularly. The more you pay attention to the adjustments your coach suggests, the faster you will get results!
